A Way With Words is a Canterbury City Council initiative funded by The National Lottery, Arts Council & Millennium Commission. The aim is to encourage everything literary in the Canterbury district, whether it be events for World Book Week or in our case, a program of ten professional lyricists resident in our venue once a month in 2005/2006. So far we have had New York legends Lach , Thomas Truax and Squeeze frontman Chris Difford and top U.S. lyricist Jill Sobule. For further information on Canterbury City Councils A Way With Words literature strategy or action plan please contact Cassandra Fry on 01227 862201 or Cassandra.fry@canterbury.gov.uk |
