Was nice to have Amber Room here last night. Unlucky if you missed it, I think it was their best performance ever. Luke was on top form as usual & dare I say it, he played some blinding classics.
Tonight we have Eben (the band formerly known as Ollie Knight) with the lovely Miss Lucy Kitt. Beautiful line up, this night will be lovely & chilled out, Eben are amazing, so nice to sit back & listen to. Lovely Lucy Kitt really whacks them out, I will be requesting 'Devils Luck' as usual, whether she obliges or not is a different matter.
The lovely artists Guy & Alex have put up their sketches today, they look really great & come with reasonable price tags.
This made me giggle. My big sis has gone to a fancy dress party tonight. The theme is animals, she is dressing up as a vivisection. White coat, a badge with a well known drugs company logo on it & the name Vivian Sectionist, an enormous fake syringe, tortured teddys with eyeballs hanging out covered in blood & a bottle with the label 'horrible chemical' on it. Any one have interesting party stories? (I'm desperate to have some feedback from you people)

Your sister sounds cool - I like her style. The best parties I've ever run were themes: Country bumpkin party (with such games as catch the greasy pig, three-legged race, bat the rat, prize vegetable competition, and jump the dike), Stranded ashore a desert island party (with such games as 'open the label-less tin can using only a stick'- you had to be there, but that was hilarious, espcially when cold mushy peas started emerging, 'Become the tribal chief (sumo wrestling)', 'Build an escape raft' and 'catch the greasy monkey'), and a super-hero party with strategically tea-stained underwear on the outside - that was horrible. I also helped orchestrate a stag party in the middle of the woods where everyone had to come as a saxon warrior (basically by wearing a potato sack)we had a zip line in the dark, archery contest, shakespeare reading, the lot, all to the barbaric light of a massive blazing fire. Happy memories...
By the way, I think you need to offer prizes for people who send in an imaginative blog, or mabe some kind of evil punishment for you regulars who don't bother - just a thought there. Have you ever done any theme nights at Orange Street? Maybe Luke would like an English theme night where either bowler hats or knotted hankies are handed out at the door, and fish and chips are served up all night - I don't know, what is English these days? Probably Chinese takeaway. Or maybe a mexican night, or a Valhalla night - that would be cool - all the guys come as warriors, and all the girls come as valkeryies (if that's how you spell it!) or maidens... anyway, have a cool day, keep chirpy:)

Andrew darling you are the Blog King. You've won the coveted blog king prize, that is response from me & a mention on my latest Blog. Love your party stories, they sound quality, I had no idea you were such a party animal. We are thinking of doing Luke Smith karaoke in september.
