West African sabar drumming workshop


8pm - Outhouse Ruhabi (£10/8)
Outhouse Ruhabi is an exciting new ensemble that mixes the sounds of contemporary jazz with the tribal West African groove of the Sabar drum. Formed in November 2007 in The Gambia, Ruhabi is the result of a collaboration between London based Outhouse and five traditional Wolof drummers.

Expect raw, hypnotic grooves and free-flowing improvising.

Flipron are back on Sat 10 May! If you missed them the first time, then make sure you are out for them this time round. They have played many times at Glastonbury and might just decorate the club with flowers all over again...

Luke and his band played regularly at Orange Street when the venue first opened and now they are back EVERY WEDS so all you local Luke worshippers, get your glad rags on and pop along to Orange Street for this night of quirky fun and frolics!
